Fakhrul’s decision to avoid oath is an ill-tactic: Hanif

Senior Correspondent: Awami League acting general secretary Mahbubul Alam Hanif opined that the decision of Mirza Fakhrul Islam Alamgir to avoid parliament is an ill-tactic.
The AL leader said this while addressing a discussion on the occasion of May Day in front of Awami League central office in Bangabandhu avenue on Wednesday.
He said, “Five of the six BNP MPs-elect took oath. Mirza Fakhrul claims that his decision, not to join the parliament, is a political tactic. But I would say it is an ill-tactic.”
“The activities of BNP leaders prove that they are clearly separated. The breakage of the party is a matter of time,” he said.
Jatiya Sramik League president Shukkur Mahmud, general secretary Sirajul Islam, Metropolitan sramik leaders (North and South) spoke on the occasion.
