Fire at city multi-storied building

Staff Correspondent: A fire broke out on the third floor of a multi-storey building in Jigatola area of the city on Tuesday evening.

The fire erupted around 7:30pm at a five storied building at Jigatola 15/G.

Confirming the matter, Fire Service Duty Officer Babul Mia said on information, six fire units rushed to the spot.  

The reason behind the fire could not be known immediately, he added.
