Five arrested over schoolboy murder at Jatrabari

Staff Correspondent: Police have arrested five people over the incident of stabbing a schoolboy to death and another injured at Kajla of the capital's Jatrabari area.
Of the arrestees Shuvo, Shamim and Sujon were known while other two could not be ascertained immediately.
Of them, four were arrested from Jatrabari while another from Jhalakathi on Friday. They all are aged from 16 to 22 years, police believe.
Anisur Rahman, Officer-in-Charge (OC) of Jatrabari Police Station, confirmed the news.
Schoolboy Rakibul and his classmate Imran Hossain Munna, 15, were stabbed at Kajla on Wednesday evening.
Early on the following day, Rakibul succumbed while he was undergoing treatment at Dhaka Medical College and Hospital (DMCH).
His friend Imran is still undergoing treatment at the hospital. They both are student of class-10 of Matuail Multi-purpose High School.
Deceased's mother Moyna Begum filed a case with Jatrabari Police Station in this connection on Thursday.
Injured Munna said on the day that 10 to 12 youths carried out attack on them with knives, leaving them seriously injured. The attackers fled the scene after snatching Tk 2,000 from Rakibul. He, however, could not identify any of the attackers.
