Staff Correspondent: The Appellate Division has stayed a High Court order for six months regarding a government decision of making merit list after deducting five marks from second time admission seekers in government-run medical colleges and institutions.
Chamber Justice Hasan Foyez Siddique passed the order on Thursday after hearing on a petition filed by the state.
Earlier, the High Court (HC) stayed a government decision of making merit list after deducting five marks from second time admission seekers in government-run medical colleges and institutions.
Alongside, the court also issued a rule asking the authority concerned as to why the decision of deducting five marks should not be declared illegal.
