Five burnt in Ashulia gas cylinder blast

Staff Correspondent: At least five people, including a child and two women sustained burn injuries in a gas cylinder explosion in Jamtola area of Ashulia, an outskirt of capital, on Friday morning.

The injured are Arab Ali, 55, Abdur Rob, 27, Hasina Begum, 40, Ayesha, 2 and Ripa Begum, 25.

Bachhu Mia, in-charge of Dhaka Medical College Hospital police camp told risingbd.com that the fire broke out in the house when a gas cylinder exploded around 7:00am, leaving the five people injured. 

Later, the injured were sent to Dhaka Medical College Hospital.
