Form distribution for govt school admission begins Dec 1

Secretariat Correspondent: Distribution of forms for admissions in the 35 government secondary schools in the capital will begin December 1 and it will continue till December 13.
As per decision, students will be admitted in Class I and IX. The students seeking admission will have to apply through online.
Professor Abdul Mannan, Director (Secondary) of the Directorate of Secondary and Higher Education (DSHE), said that this decision was taken due to upcoming general election.
Lotteries for enrolling class I students will be held on December 23, and the results will be published in the afternoon of the day, he said.
The students seeking admission in Class II and IX are required to face a written test that will be held December 17, 18 and 19. The results will be published on December 30.
