Four injured in Barisal oil tanker Explosion

Staff Correspondent: At least four crews of an oil tanker sustained burn injuries after a blast at the engine room of the vessel while unloading fuel on the bank of Kirtankhola River in Barisal.

The injured are - Saidul Islam, Nazmul, Humayun Kabir and Abu Sufian.

The accident occurred at 9:00pm on Saturday.

Barisal Fire Service Deputy Director Faruk Hossain said four injured people were sent Barisal Sher-e-Bangla Medical College Hospital.

Sher-e-Bangla Medical College Hospital Surgery Dept Chief Dr ASM Sharfuzzaman Rubel said three people received 75 percent burn injury.
