GCC polls: CEC visits Gazipur

Staff Correspondent, Gazipur: Chief Election Commissioner (CEC) KM Nurul Huda on Wednesday visited Gazipur ahead of City Corporation (GCC).

Four other election commissioners- Mahbub Talukdar, Rafiqul Islam, Begum Kabita Khanam, Brigadier General Shahadat Hossain Chowdhury (retd.) and Election Commission secretary Helal Uddin Ahmed accompanied the CEC.

The election commissioners joined the special meeting around 11:00am.

Dhaka divisional commissioner K M Ali Azam presided over the meeting where Gazipur deputy commissioner Dr Muhammad Humayun Kabir and others attended.
