GD filed against former CJ S K Sinha

Pabna Correspondent: A general diary (GD) has been filed against former chief justice Surendra Kumar Sinha in Pabna.

K M Hassan Kabir Arif, assistant secretary the central Awami League’s sub-committee, filed the GD with Pabna sadar police station on Tuesday.

After filing the GD, Hassan Kabir said, “S K Sinha tarnished image of Prime Minister Sheikh, making fake and derogatory comments at a press conference in UK recently. So, I filed the GD as a conscious citizen of the country.”

Obaidul Quader, Officer-in-Charge (OC) of Pabna sadar police station, confirmed the news.

He said, “Legal steps would be taken after investigating into the matter.”
