Gas supply to remain suspended in Mirpur today

Staff Correspondent: Gas supply will remain suspended for four hours today (Thursday) across a vast area of Mirpur and its neighbouring localities due to relocation of pipelines to facilitate construction work of the Metro Rail Project.

There will be no gas transmission in the area for household and commercial users since 1:00pm to 5:00pm.

With this, gas pipelines are being disconnected for the fifth time in the area for the project.

Mohammad Wahiduzzaman, Public Relations Officer (PRO) of Titas Gas Transmission and Distribution Company Ltd, confirmed the news.

Alongside, a press release issued in this regard also revealed the news.

The areas include Zoo road, Mirpur-1, 2, 6, 7 and the western areas of Mirpur-10, 11 and 12, Eastern Housing, Rupnagar, Alubdi and its adjoining areas, according to Wahiduzzaman.

Titas expressed its heart-felt sorrow to the users for the temporary inconvenience.
