Staff Correspondent, Gazipur: Fire fighters have brought the fire under control which broke out at some jhut godowns in Konabari of Gazipur city on Sunday morning.
Six units of the fire fighters rushed to the spot and doused the blaze after nearly three hours of their frantic efforts.
Confirming the matter, Joydebpur Fire Service and Civil Defense senior station officer Md Zakir Hossain said the reason behind the fire could not be known immediately.
The extent of losses caused by the fire is yet to be ascertained, he added.
