Gold price falls

Staff Correspondent: Bangladesh Jewellers Association (BAJUS) has decided to reduce gold price in the local market following the fall of its value in the international market.

The association informed this in a press release issued on Monday.

The revised prices will be effective from tomorrow (Tuesday).

According to the press release, the gold prices will be reduced to Tk 1,283 per bhori in the local market of Bangladesh following the fall in international market.

According to the revised chart, gold of 22-carat will be sold at Tk 47,939 per bhori from Tuesday in line with the revised price. The price of 21-carat gold will be Tk 45,723 and 18-carat gold will be Tk 40,474.

The silver price will be unchanged as per the decision.
