Gold prices increase in local market

Economic Correspondent: Gold prices in the local market have increased by around Tk 1,400 per bhori (11.664 grams) after it became costlier in the international market.
Bangladesh Jewellers Samity (BAJUS) in a statement issued on Sunday said the new rate for gold would be effective from Tomorrow (Monday).
As per the new rate, each bhori (11.664) of 22-carat gold will now cost Tk 49,339 while 21-carat gold will cost Tk 47,123 and 18-carat gold will cost Tk 41,874.
