Govt appoints new DCs in 22 districts

Secretariat Correspondent: The government has appointed new deputy commissioner (DC) to 22 districts across the country including Dhaka, Rajshahi, Chittagong, Rangpur, Sylhet and Mymensingh.
The Ministry of Public Administration issued an order to this regard on Sunday.
According to the order, 19 districts got new DCs while three DCs of Narsingdi, Thakurgaon and Kurigram were transferred to Mymensingh, Jessore and Dhaka respectively.
The 19 new DCs were transferred from different ministries and government organizations, the order revealed.
The districts which got new DCs are: Rangpur, Chandpur, Comilla, Bandarban, Netrokona, Satkhira, Shariatpur, Dinajpur, Chittagong, Sylhet, Thakurgaon, Rangamati, Cox's Bazar, Jhenidah, Bhola, Kurigram, Narsingdi, Habiganj and Rajshahi.
