Govt made 195 requests to Facebook for info

Staff Correspondent: The Bangladesh government has made 195 requests to the Facebook authorities to get information.

According to the government report, it has sought information about 195 Facebook accounts from its authorities from July to December of 2018.

However, the Facebook authority provided 44 percent information following the request.

In the Bangladesh chapter, among the 49 requests, 19 were on legal process request while 130 are emergency type of request.
