Govt to import 2 lakh tonnes of wheat from Russia

Secretariat Correspondent: The government has taken a decision to import two lakh metric tonnes of wheat from Russia on government-to-government (G-to-G) basis.

The decision was taken at a high level meeting held between Bangladesh and Russia at the Bangladesh Secretariat on Monday.

As per the decision, Russia will start supplying wheat from next month. The country will supply two lakh metric tonnes of wheat by October.
