HC declares circular of FFs age illegal

Staff Correspondent: The high court on Sunday declared a circular illegal that fixed minimum age of freedom fighters at 12-and-a-half years.
A bench of Justice Sheikh Hassan Arif and Justice Razik-Al-Jalil passed the order.
Barrister Omar moved for the writ petitioner while Deputy Attorney General Mokhlesur Rahman stood for the state.
Earlier, the liberation war affairs ministry issued a gazette notification fixing the minimum age at 12-and-a-half years.
