Hapless Chandona dies at 88

Chandona Sarkar, a hapless woman, has passed away in Assasuni upazila of Satkhira district early Monday at the age of 88 years.

She breathed her last at 3:00am at her residence.

Chandona was the inhabitant of Sabdalpur village in the upazila. She was the wife of late Paban Sarkar.

The aged woman left behind four sons and three daughters to mourn her death.

Confirming the matter to risingbd, Joydeb Sarkar, son of the deceased, said, “My mother was cremated at the local crematorium around noon.” 

Mentionable, country’s popular online news portal risingbd.com stood beside her with a helping hand on January 16. The portal helped her with a blanket, sharee, horlicks, fruits and some cash money.
