‘Help reach healthcare to people’s doorsteps’

Senior Correspondent: Health and Family Welfare Minister Mohammed Nasim asked Deputy Commissioners (DCs) to make their best efforts to help reach healthcare facilities to people’s doorsteps.

The minister made the call while addressing the eighth session of the three-day DCs conference at the Secretariat here on Wednesday.

“This is the last year of the government…So I asked them to try their level best for reaching health facilities at the doorsteps of people as per the directives of our Prime Minister,” Nasim said.

The minister also asked them to complete their unfinished tasks related to health services by December.

At the meeting, the DCs raised their requirements before the minister and expressed their gratitude to him for his cooperation.

They also said the grassroots people were happy at the services of the community health clinics.
