Hindu Mohajote demands 3-day Durga Puja holiday

Staff Correspondent: Bangladesh Jatiya Hindu Mohajote leaders demanded a three-day holiday to celebrate Durga Puja.

Hindu leaders came up with the demand from a human chain formed in front of Jatiya Press Club on Friday.

Speakers said Durga Puja is the biggest religious festival of the Hindu community. No family gets scope of enjoying the occasion with festive mood as they get leave just for a day in comparison to five-day religious formalities.
