Home loan for govt employees at 5pc interest rate

Staff Correspondent:  State-owned Rupali Bank Ltd has begun to provide government officers and employees with home loans at 5 per cent interest rate.

Managing Director and CEO of the bank Md Ataur Rahman handed over a loan pay-order to Deputy Secretary of the Ministry of Agriculture Md Al Mamun at a function held at the bank’s Elephant Road branch on Sunday.

Among others, Deputy Managing Directors Mohammad Jahangir Alam, Md. Morshed Alam Khandakar and Belayet Hossain, General Managers Md Shafiqul Islam and Md. Shawkat Ali, DGM Shahedur Rahman, branch manager Md Ilias Hossain and other officials of the bank were present.
