Housewife's throat-silt body found in N'ganj

Staff Correspondent: A man has slit his wife’s throat in Bhulta Pachaikha Uttarapara area of Rupganj upazila in the district.

The deceased was identified as Sheuli.

Locals and family sources said that tea vendor Shamim married Sheuli on August 23. The killing incident took place on Friday noon. However, the reason behind the murder could not be known immediately.

Rupganj police station Officer-in-Charge (OC) Moniruzzaman said that following family feud husband Shamim killed his newly married wife Sheuli.

The body was sent to Narayanganj District Hospital morgue.
