Hridoy's body recovered

Staff Correspondent: The body of the three-year-old boy named Hridoy, who fell into a drain in Manda area under Mugdapara Police Station in the capital, has been recovered on Saturday noon.

Cleaners of Dhaka South City Corporation (DSCC) recovered the body of Hridoy around 2:30pm.

Rasel Sikdar, duty officer of Fire service headquarters, confirmed the matter.

DSCC cleaners found Hridoy's body floating in the water while cleaning dirt in the drain.

Hridoy fell into a drain in Manda area under Mugdapara Police Station in the capital while playing in the afternoon of October 15.

Fire service divers could not recover the body due to huge dirt in the drain.

Abdus Salam, father of Hridoy, is a rickshaw puller by profession.
