IGP urges policemen to work honestly

Staff Correspondent, Rajshahi: Inspector General of Police (IGP) Dr Mohammad Jabed Patwari said all the members of police department have to work honestly. The rule of law will prevail then.

The IGP made the assertion while addressing the passing out parade of sub-inspectors of 36th batch at Sarda police academy in Rajshahi on Sunday.

He said, “Policemen have to come forward to ensure rule of law. Proper investigation of cases, security to plaintiff, victims and witnesses should be ensured maintaining honesty.”

Praising the role of police forcers he said, “The way of crimes has changed following globalization and new technologies. So, policemen have to gain ability to combat the crimes.”
