India beat Bangladesh by 30 runs, clinch T20 series

Deepak Chahar's shining bowling performance propelled India restrict Bangladesh to 144, thereby clinching the T20 series 2-1 in Nagpur on Sunday.

Chasing 175 for victory Bangladesh side failed to show their mastery in the game as they kept losing wickets at regular intervals.

After losing two quick wickets at the start, Bangladeshi middle-order consolidated the innings helped by two important knocks from Naim Sheikh and Mohammad Mithun. Although Bangladesh lost the game but Naim’s dashing batting maybe provide some consolation to the fans. He scored 81 runs playing only 48 runs.

Earlier in the day, India scored 174 with losing five wickets in their stipulated 20 overs in the third T20 match. Half-centuries from Shreyas Iyer and K L Rahul helped India put a good target. It was a maiden T20 half-century for Iyer (62 off 33) and the sixth one for Rahul (52 off 35).
