Is Mizan powerful from ACC: Appellate Division

Staff Correspondent: The Appellate Division of the Supreme Court has expressed its dissatisfaction for not arresting Deputy Inspector General of Police (DIG) Mizanur Rahman.

A bench headed by Chief Justice Syed Mahmud Hossain expressed the dissatisfaction on Sunday noon.

The chief justice questioned to the ACC lawyer “Why Mizanur Rahman was not arrested yet. Is he powerful from ACC?”

The lawyer told the court that ACC has temporarily suspended its director Khandaker Enamul Basir for leaking a probe report to DIG Mizanur Rahman who faces allegations of amassing illegal wealth.
