It is a participatory election, says CEC

Staff Correspondent, Chattogram: Chief Election Commissioner (CEC) KM Nurul Huda has said that the forthcoming 11th general election is being held participatory.

He said, “the Election Commission (EC) has taken all out steps to make the polls free and acceptable. A total of 1,845 candidates are contesting the polls that proves it as a participatory election.”

The CEC said this while exchanging views with field-level election officers at Chattogram International Convention Centre on Tuesday.
