Jahurul hits century for Rajshahi Division

Sports Correspondent: A century from Rajshahi Division captain Jahurul Islam Omi and another century from dashing batsman Mizanur Rahman put Rajshahi Division firmly in the driving seat with a big score against Khulna Division on the third day of the on-going 20th Walton National Cricket League Tier-1.

Jahurul scored 91 runs and remained unbeaten on the second day at the Shaheed Kamruzzaman Stadium. But at the beginning of the third-day play today, he made his century. Jahurul reached his carrier's 14th century in the first class cricket.

Rajshahi Division is now in good position after Jahurul ton and its score has crossed 500 riding on the brilliant performance of Jahurul Islam at the beginning of day-three.

Earlier, winning toss, Khulna Division skipper Khan Abdur Razzak chose to bat first. Their first innings folded for only 210 runs in 52.3 overs. Tushar Imran hit a century and scored 104 while his teammates failed miserably.
