Jamalpur-1 BNP candidate’s nomination halted

Staff Correspondent: The High Court has stayed the Election Commission’s decision that allowed BNP candidate M Rashiduzzaman Millat to contest the December 30 election for Jamalpur-1 constituency.

The HC bench of Justice JBM Hassan and Justice Md Khairul Alam passed the order on Thursday, following a writ petition filed by AL candidate Abul Kalam Azad challenging the EC’s decision.
