Diplomatic Correspondent: Korea International Cooperation Agency (KOICA) President Lee Mi-kyung is scheduled to come here on January 20 (Sunday) on a four-day visit.
This is the first time any KOICA president will visit Bangladesh since KOICA’s formation in 1993.
She is expected to visit the Rohingya refugee camps in Cox’s Bazar.
Diplomatic sources said Lee Mi-kyung will lead a six-member team in the visit.
She will inspect various project sites in Bangladesh cooperated by Korea.
Besides, the KOICA chief will hold meeting with various government and non-government officials in Dhaka.
