Khaleda Zia appeals seeking bail in 3 cases

Staff Correspondent, Cumilla: BNP Chairperson Khaleda Zia has filed separate petitions with the High Court (HC) seeking bail in three cases in Cumilla and Narail.

BNP chairperson Khaleda Zia's lawyer Khandaker Mahbub Hossain filed the bail petitions with the High Court on Sunday morning.

The hearing over the petitions will be held at the bench of justice AKM Asaduzzaman this week.

On May 16, the Appellate Division of the Supreme Court upheld the High Court order that had granted bail to convicted BNP chairperson Khaleda in the Zia Orphanage Trust graft case.
