Khaleda Zia asks for bold movement; says Fakhrul

Staff Correspondent: BNP secretary general Mirza Fakhrul Islma Alamgir said the party chairperson Khaleda Zia instructed the party leaders and activists to lead the movement with a bold hand for restoration of democracy.
The BNP chief came up with the instruction to three top party leaders who met her at the Old Central Jail on Nazimuddin Road in Dhaka.
Mirza Fakhrul Islam Alamgir told this to the reporters at the jail gate after emerging from the jail on Saturday afternoon.
Earlier around 3:50pm, Mirza Fakhrul along with BNP standing committee member Mirza Abbas and Nazrul Islam Khan entered the jail to meet Khaleda Zia.
They came out from the jail around 5:00pm, after nearly 10 minutes and an hour of their meeting with the party chairperson in the jail.
Mirza Fakhrul told reporter that Khaleda Zia’s health condition has seriously deteriorated. We are very worried about her health after we had met her. It is necessary to give her treatment at the hospital where she wants.
He said, “Her (Khaleda) left arm is getting inflexible and more weights slowly. She suffering from pain on her body’s left side, from her left leg. Now, she cannot move easily.”
“We asked her about the health condition. Is she able to take meals properly? Is she needed to change the atmosphere? We asked her about theses. She also replied us what we asked. No person can be recovered from illness at such atmosphere,” he added.
