Khaleda Zia files bail petition in Cumilla arson case

Staff Correspondent: BNP Chairperson Khaleda Zia has filed a bail petition with the High Court seeking bail in an arson attack case in Cumilla.

Masud Rana, one of Khaleda's lawyers on Tuesday said the hearing would be held at the HC bench of Justice Md Shawkat Hossain and Justice Abu Taher Md Saifur Rahman within a day or two.

On February 3, 2015, police filed the case with Chouddagram Police Station for instigating an arson attack on a bus on Dhaka-Chittagong highway in Comilla's Chauddagram.
