‘Khaleda being provided all types of treatments’

Staff Correspondent: Inspector General (IG) Prisons Brig Gen Syed Iftekhar Uddin said, “BNP Chairperson Khaleda Zia is being given all kinds of treatments. She will be provided advanced treatment if it is necessary.”

He told this to the reporters while visiting Nepal plane crash victims at Dhaka Medical College and Hospital (DMCH) on Wednesday noon.

He said, “Khaleda Zia has been given division in the prison. All measures including treatment for her were taken in accordance with the jail code. There is no defect in this case.”

IG Prisons visited Almun Nahar Annie and Shahreen Ahmed and talked to them about their physical conditions and treatment.

Syed Iftekhar Uddin rushed to DMCH burn unit to visit one of his relatives.
