Khaleda’s bail extended till July 24

Staff Correspondent: The bail for BNP Chairperson Khaleda Zia, who is currently behind the bars in the Zia Orphanage Trust graft case, has been extended till July 24 in the Zia Charritable Trust corruption case.
Judge Md Akhtaruzzaman of Special Judge Court-5 of Dhaka passed the order after a petition was filed on behalf of the accused on Tuesday.
The case was fixed for hearing arguments on the day. But, Khaleda Zia was not produced before the court as she was ill.
