Landslide fears as heavy rain forecast

Staff Correspondent: The met office forecasted that heavy rainfall is likely to occur in Sylhet and Chittagong divisions due to active monsoon.

Meteorologist Abdur Rahman Khan said that heavy to heavy rain is likely to occur at places over Mymensingh, Sylhet and Chittagong during next 24 hrs commencing on Saturday afternoon.

All fishing boats and trawlers over North Bay have been advised to come close to the coast and proceed with caution till further notice, according to a weather bulletin today.
