List of hajj pilgrims with state cost released

Secretariat Correspondent: The Religion Ministry has published a list of 86 pilgrims who have been selected for performing hajj with state cost.

The selected pilgrims under hajj package-2 will fly for Saudi Arabia on August 9 and return home on September 19.

The news was revealed in a press release signed by the ministry’s assistant secretary (hajj) S M Moniruzzaman on Tuesday.

It may be mentioned that this year a total of 1, 26,798 persons are going to Saudi Arabia for performing hajj.

Of them, 6,798 will perform hajj under government management while 1,20,000 under private management.
