Liton murder: Drives for arms at Kader's house, pond

Gaibandha Correspondent: Police are are conducting drives in searching of arms at the house and pond of former Jatiya party (JP) lawmaker Abdul Kader who is the main suspect mastermind of Awami League MP Liton murder.

Police and Fire Service men jointly started the drive at Kader's Chhaport hati village house of Sundarganj in Gaibandha around 2:45pm on Wednesday.

Atiar Rahman, Officer-in-Charge (OC) of Sundarganj Police Station, confirmed the news.

Though police could not find any arms, the drive was going on while the report was filed around 4:30pm.
