Long queue at Kamalapur to collect advance tickets

Staff Correspondent: Kamalapur Railway Station is witnessing long queues of holidaymakers as Bangladesh Railway began its sale of advance train tickets today to ensure a hassle-free journey ahead of Eid-ul-Fitr.

Kamalapur Railway's Station Manager Sitangshu Chakraborty said, “All ticket seekers were not getting tickets due to a meager number of AC and cabin but they were being able to collect a fixed number of tickets standing at a long queue.”

It is seen at the station that tickets were being sold at 26 counters, including two for women.

Many ticket seekers alleged that AC tickets are being sold out within short time but we are not getting tickets.
