Staff Correspondent, Gazipur: The wife of a Madrasa teacher and student were slaughtered in Gazipur City Corporation early Tuesday.
The incident took place in Huffajul Quran Madrasa in Chandona area.
The deceased were identified as Mahmuda Akhter (25), wife of Madrasa teacher Ibrahim Kholil Talukder , and student Mamun (7).
Ibrahim Kholil Talukder conducts the madrasa.
Gazipur Metropolitan Police Commissioner YA Belalur Rahman visited the spot.
