Mahfuz Ullah’s body arrives in Dhaka

Staff Correspondent: The body of eminent journalist Mahfuz Ullah, who passed away at a hospital in Thailand, arrived in Dhaka early Sunday. 

A flight of Thai Airways carrying his body landed at Hazarat Shah Jalal International Airport around 1:00am on Sunday.

The family members of Mahfuz Ullah received the body at the airport. Later, the body was taken to capital’s Green Road.

Family sources said that his first namaz-e-janaza will be held after Zohr prayers at Dormitory Jame Mosque. Later, the body will be taken to national press club and then he will be buried at Mirpur Martyred Intellectuals' graveyard.

Earlier on Saturday morning, Mahfuz Ullah died while undergoing treatment at a hospital in Thailand. He was 69.
