Man hacked to death in Gopalganj

Gopalganj Correspondent: A man was hacked to death allegedly by his rivals in Char-Jajira village under Kashiani upazila of the district on Tuesday morning.

The deceased was identified as Jihad Mollah, 42, son of Lokman Mollah alias Ruku Mollah.

Kashiani police station Officer-in-Charge (OC) AKM Alinul Hossain said supporters of Shawkat Mollah and Kabir Mollah locked into clash recently. Following the clash, both groups filed a case with police station.

Later, victim Jihad Mollah and his brother Sujon Mollah were heading towards court over the case. Meanwhile, attackers attacked them this morning, leaving Jihad Mollah dead on the spot and injured Sujon Mollah injured.
