Man killed by train at Tongi

Staff Correspondent, Gazipur: A man was killed as a train hit him in Arichpur area near Tongi Railway Station in Gazipur on Monday morning.

Identities of the deceased could not be known immediately.

Sub-inspector Rafikul Islam of Tongi police station said, the incident took place in the area early morning, leaving him dead on the spot.

Later, on information, police recovered the body and sent it to Dhaka Medical College Hospital.
