Man kills brother in Pabna

Pabna Correspondent: A man was killed allegedly by his younger brother over taking a loan in Ambagan police camp area of Ishwardi upazila in Pabna on Wednesday morning.

The deceased was identified as Ziarul Mandal, 35, son of Montu Mandal.

Ishwardi police station Officer-in-Charge (OC) Bahauddin Faruki said younger brother Kazim took loan of Tk2000 from his elder brother Ziarul few days back. Following the loan, the two brothers locked into an altercation. At one stage, Kazim attacked his brother with a knife, leaving him critically injured.

Later, the injured was sent to Ishwardi Upazila Health Complex where Ziarul died under treatment.
