Man shot dead in Pabna

Pabna Correspondent: A man was shot to death by miscreants at Talpara area of the district’s Atghoria upazila around 6:15pm on Sunday.

The deceased was known as Iqbal Hossain alias Ilbaz, 42, son of former UP member Esem Uddin of Norjan Purbapara village of the upazila.

Local UP Chairman Ismail Sardar confirmed the news.

He said, “Miscreants shot Iqbal to death while he was returning home from local Ekdanto bazar.”

Anwarul Islam, Officer-in-Charge (OC) of Atghoria Police Station, said, “Being informed, cops were sent to the spot. Details will be revealed later.”
