Staff Correspondent, Sylhet: A man sustained bullet injury while taking a peep on commando operation at Atia Mahal of the district's Shibbari area on Saturday noon.
The bullet-hit man was identified as Shiblu Malakar, 27, son of Basanto Malakar. He was admitted to Osmani Medical College and Hospital.
Shiblu received bullet-injury while he was trying to see the commando operation from a nearby temple of Atia Mahal, the reported militant hideout, sources said.
The operation was running while the report was filed around 3:55pm on Saturday.
