Mashrafe returning home from England

Sports Desk: Bangladesh ODI captain Mashrafe Bin Mortaza is returning home tonight from England as his better half has fallen ill and taken to hospital.

The skipper was supposed to reach Shahjalal International Airport this afternoon but a delay in the initial flight on his way back meant he is now scheduled to arrive around 11:00pm on Sunday.

Jalal Yunus, Media Committee Chairman of Bangladesh Cricket Board (BCB) said that Mashrafe will join England team on May 4.

Mashrafe's wife Sumona Haque is ill and has been admitted to a city clinic. On getting the news, the skipper decided to return home.

Bangladesh cricket team are now busy in conditioning camp in Sussex, England heading of the forthcoming tri-nation series and ICC Champions Trophy 2017.
