Sports Correspondent: Bangladesh ODI captain Mashrafe Bin Mortaza has returned home after winning tri-nation series in Ireland.
Three other national team players -- Yasir Ali, Taskin Ahmed, Nayeem Hasan and Forhad Reza -- who did not make it to the 15-member World Cup squad, also returned on Saturday night.
A flight of Emirates Airlines carrying Mashrafe and trio landed at Hazrat Shahjalal International Airport at 11:30pm on Saturday. Another cricketer Farhad Reza is scheduled to land Dhaka today.
State Minister for Youth and Sports Zahid Ahsan Rasel, BCB Director cum chairman of the media committee Jalal Yunus, Mahbubul Anam, Ismail Haydar Mallik and BCB chief executive Nizamuddin Chowdhury welcomed the players at the airport.
Mashrafe Bin Mortaza returned home following his family reason. He will fly for London on Wednesday to join a program organized by ICC. Later, the skipper will join the World Cup squad in Cardiff.
