Mithu murder: Hasnat Rizvi gave confessional statement

Staff Correspondent, Khulna: Hasnat Rizvi Marthal Bhuiya, a member secretary of Phultala BNP, gave confessional statement to the court over the killing of BNP leader Sarder Alauddin Mithu.

Khulna Range DIG Didar Ahmed in a press conference made the disclosure on Tuesday noon.

Earlier on Monday noon, Rapid Action Battalion (RAB) detained Hasnat Rizvi Marthal Bhuiya from Khulna Circuit House area.

On May 25 (Thursday), five to six men in two motorcycles went to Mithu's office at Damodar in the upazila and opened fire killing him on the spot.
