Model Risila kills herself

Staff Correspondent: Model and actress Risila Binte Wazer allegedly committed suicide at her residence in the capital's Badda area on Monday noon.

Abu Bakar Siddique, officer-in-charge (OC) of Gulshan Police Station, confirmed the incident.

The OC said her body was found hanging from the ceiling of a room in their residence around 1:30pm.

Risila was taken to United Hospital in Gulshan around 2:00pm where duty doctor declared her dead around 2:40pm, he said.

The reason behind her death could not be known immediately, the police official added.

The OC said the body will be taken to Dhaka Medical College Hospital for autopsy.
